We really want Braedan to have his training wheels off this year. Unfortunately, he doesn't care. We just think he would have so much more fun biking without them. He doesn't.

But we are committed to trying.

This girl gave us the same grief- she was 6 before her training wheels came off. Of course, she then rode it the first time easily.

Not so today. We spent several back breaking hours (no, really, I'm sure it was hours) leaning over and holding on to Braedan as he toodled along without a care in the world.

Brinley floated along effortlessly on her roller blades giving pointers to Braedan (and us) here and there.

Cooper is just relieved with the hope that Maine winters really do come to an end!

Oh yeah, she's happy...

but not my poor, back broken, tired husband. We had to give up in defeat today, but we will prevail. (I think)
